On this page you'll find out about Youth Fellowship's three mascots, how they came about, who found them etc.
FROGGY
Youth Fellowship's original mascot, froggy was found within it's first year. He was discovered in the stock cupboard in the basement of the church hall, so we fixed him up and took him away to Rufford with us in 2001. Unfortunately, we thought we had lost him when we realized that he wasn't in any of our bags. He did, however, defy the laws of physics and manange to pop up in the storeroom some 11 months later. While we thought we had lost froggy, we bought another mascot. (Froggy is a youth fellowship veteran. Not only has he survived Rufford-twice, he has lost his eyes twice and almost lost a leg.)

Mr. COW
Inspired by a song we sung in Rufford (2001) Mr. Cow was bought some 3 months after the tragic disappearance of Froggy. He is no ordinary mascot, as you press his belly and he goes into a fit of moo-ing and laughing. He was unveiled at the Youth Fellowship Christmas party in 2001, and was, as we thought, our only mascot until the return of the prodigle frog.
MONGOLIAN DEATH WORM
One sunday, during a rather lengthy and weighty talk on the supernatural by El Twiggo, he mentioned a Mongolian Death Worm. This worm had the power to kill anyone it looked at, or so he said.(To be honest, he was making it up!)During the break we took for food, we discovered a box of old toys waiting to be thrown out. Whilst rooting through the boxes and causing merry mischeif, Paul discovered a pink snake, which had, at one point, belonged to Jo.(See 'People involved'.) This began Paul on a long and strenuous task of trying to persuade Ian Vickers, the Sunday School Superintendent, to let us keep the snake. He agreed, or so they say. We named the Snake the 'Mongolian Death Worm' and took it away to Rufford the following week.(2002)
